This is a hybrid event that provides attendees with virtual and in person access to the Family Medicine review course. This review course is designed to improve general practice in Family Medicine using up to date guidelines and recommendations from experts in the field through lectures and workshops. Despite the unprecedented circumstances posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we were still able to reach more than 800 attendees. Therefore we are pleased to announce our 6th annual Family Medicine Review Course which will take place at the Raddison Blu Hotel, Kuwait. The course will be divided into Lectures and Workshops in the following dates:
Lectures discussing common problems encountered in daily practice centered around diagnosis and management with updated guidelines and recommendations.
Firstly, we would like to thank the Head of Primary Healthcare Faculty and Head of Yarmouk Health Center Dr. Huda Al Duwaisan, the Director of Kuwait Family Medicine Board Dr. Deena Al Dhubaib, and the Assistant Director of the Kuwait Family Medicine Residents Program (KFMRP) and Member of the Workplace Based Assessment Committee (WPBA) Dr. Sawsan Al Bannai, the Head of the Kuwait Medical Association (KMA) Dr. Ibrahim Al Tuwala, the Head of Kuwait Association of Family and General Practitioners (KAFGP) Dr. Mohammad Al Azmi and finally Dr. Dalal Al Hajeri who is the Head of the Non-communicable Disease Program of Primary Care and the Head of the Scientific Committee of the KFMRP for all their help and support in making this course a great success.
In addition, many thanks to the organizers of the previous Family Medicine Review Courses as well as the Founder of the course, Dr. Sara AlHammouri, for the guidance and support throughout this process.
Moreover, we would like to thank all members of the Poster Evaluation Committee: Dr. Maleka Serour, Dr. Tasneem Al Jarki, Dr. Bassam Al Buthi and Dr. Shaikhah Al Kandari for their time, encouragement and effort in the selection and evaluation of posters.
